When it comes to discussing diversity in photography, often the person behind the lens is not considered. In this episode, we sit down with three photographers Alexis Gardner, Ashleigh Crawley and J’sha Gift, who each come from very diverse photography backgrounds and discuss their journey — what it means to be a Black woman behind the screen. We explore the highs and lows of their careers as they share their experience of what they described as “representing all Black people” through their work.
